Regular Season Tips Off May 7
The Indiana Fever announced their 2022 regular season schedule today, which will feature all games streamed live for free to fans in Indiana and Kentucky.
The Fever will open their season on the road against the Atlanta Dream on May 7, before returning home to take on the Dallas Wings on May 14. The team will play a total of 17 home games at Gainbridge Fieldhouse this season, including a pair of nationally televised games on ESPN2.
The Fever are coming off a disappointing 2021 season, in which they finished with a 6-26 record. However, the team has made several key additions this offseason, including the signing of All-Star forward Breanna Stewart. Stewart is expected to make her Fever debut this season after missing the 2021 season due to injury.
With Stewart leading the way, the Fever are hoping to return to the playoffs for the first time since 2019. The team has a tough schedule ahead of them, but they are confident that they can compete for a championship.
